The day we finished filling out our application for the home study and the international agency Andy [hilariously] said, "Well, at least we won't have to fill out anymore paperwork"
If you haven't adopted, I will just tell you that those 10 page applications and supporting documents we filled out are just the beginning.....
Luckily, I happen to love paperwork and being organized about stuff, so we should be OK. Pray for Andy, though, who will have his wife constantly reminding him about the next thing he has to do :)
Prayer request: We are filing our taxes soon and we are really praying that we don't owe money to the IRS. We have had to pay them in the past because we would rather not loan them money all year interest free only to get a refund (which is NOT a gift by the way, it's YOUR money). However, this year, we really hope that we don't owe them! We've got some good "seed money" for the first couple of payments we will need to make to the agencies and we would hate to wipe that out by giving it to the government!
