Andy is Awesome: Volume 1

Forget the fact that my husband is in AFRICA by himself filing paperwork for our adoption. We already know that makes him awesome. And you all already know that Andy is a master wood floor -installer, plumbing- fixer, house- rehaber, bathroom- redoer, and car -repairer, right? And THAT makes him awesome. And if you are close enough to us, you also know that Andy puts up with a lot of crap from me and that really makes him awesome. BUT, did you know that Andy is also a bed-builder?

He is! He built us this amazing farmhouse bed. It's actually the first real bed we have ever owned and we sure do love it. Makes us feel so grown up. He mostly used Anna White's plans, but he had to modify it a couple of ways. One, because the plans make the bed super heavy and we didn't really want that. Two, our bed is actually two twins together and not an official king (which is two XL twins), so he  had to modify the frame, which he just bought at American Furniture Warehouse. Speaking of AFW, this is NOT Jake Jabs, but he is on TV and he may own a tiger.

 

I digress, onto the bed my awesome husband made us. Didn't he do an amazing job?? And no, he can't build you one! We're adopting two children!
