We ate, went to Starbucks and hit the outlet mall, all in 2 1/2 hours. It felt like days. We remembered how much we took "eating out" and "doing whatever you wanted" for granted and realized that our 2 1/2 hours away was so much sweeter because it couldn't be had any time we wanted. We came home to sleeping kids, watched the rest of a movie we'd started during nap time (first whole movie since children!), and went to bed to a quiet house.
It was glorious and we'll be doing it again soon!
