Milestones: Vaughn

As I have mentioned before Vaughn loves school. He is such a bright learner and always excited to do something that involves homework, school or learning. Today as we sat down to do his homework, I realized just how much he has learned in the last couple of months and what a milestone it is that a kid who was just transplanted to a whole new life is able to not only adjust to that life (and adjust well!) but also learn an incredible amount in a short time.

His homework included: writing numbers, telling time, cutting out shapes, and even addition. Vaughn has learned so much and continues to amaze me with his abilities despite the language barrier.

Yesterday we also decorated their homework folders and Vaughn drew a car, a minivan (they were distinctly two different vehicles) and our house. He is really good!

I am so impressed my grandson. Can't wait to get to do his school work with him.

Celina, Vaughn and Eloise are certainly bright children since they are doing so well in every aspect of their lives. However, you and Andy are playing a major roll in that with the support and environment you are raising the kids in.
