Tickets!

We purchased our tickets for my trip to Congo!!

Betsy and I leave on January 8 from DC and return to DC on January 18. Some steps still have to be completed, so really nothing is sure until the day we are home.

The next two things that need to happen are:
1. Our attorney needs to bring some updated documents back to the embassy in Kinshasa
2. The embassy needs to issue our children's visas

Our prayer is that both of these things will be complete by the day we arrive. The holidays have kind of really slowed things down, but I think next week everything should pick back up.  Basically, we're  going on faith here and knowing that sometimes we have to give a little push to make sure things happen since the two people in the world who care most about this are Andy and I. Not the embassy, not our agency, not our attorney...US.

The reality is, even if something goes wrong, we have 8 days in country to get it all complete, but the hope is, we won't need to be rushing around trying to get everything done.

We are SO, SO close!!!
